Non-invasive BBLs use a variety of techniques, including:
Dermal fillers: Injections of Sculptra or Bellafill stimulate collagen production and add volume to the buttocks.
Radiesse: A volumizing filler made of calcium microspheres suspended in a water-based gel that's absorbed by the body over time.
Radiofrequency (RF) treatments: A technique that can help contour and add volume to the buttocks.
Non-invasive BBLs are an option for people who want to change the shape and size of their buttocks, reduce the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks, or don't have enough fat for a surgical BBL. However, they're not suitable for people who want permanent results or have a lot of sagging skin.
Results from a non-invasive BBL typically last up to two years, and repeat treatments may be needed to maintain them. Side effects can include swelling, bruising, tenderness, discomfort, lumps, irregularities, allergic reactions, or infection.
